Abstract

This research was conducted to identify the problem of resource planning in construction project. Besides that, the objective for this research was to rank the most frequent problem that occur during resource planning in construction project. This objective to ensure that the project manager, engineer and others to be prepared and find the alternative to reduce this problem. In this research, the method that used for obtaining survey research was questionnaire for collecting the response from the project manager, engineer and others. The total respondents for this research were 32 from building construction company that categorized in G6 and located in Kuantan, Pahang. Next, Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS) was used in analysing these research finding. The result for this research showed that the problem of material planning in construction project was the highest value of the mean. Lastly, the main suggested recommendation for this research is to increase the number of respondent and number of questionnaire in order to obtain more accurate data.
