Wie schreibt man das??!
Deutsch, the main language that is widely used in Germany. Besides that, it is also the main language for various countries such as Belgium, Austria and Switzerland. Even though German alphabets look similar to English but their pronunciations are totally different. Once, we were introduced to the phrase “Wie schreibt man das?”, we repeatedly practiced it using the appropriate German spelling in the classroom. Ich heiße Ilyana. Ee-E, El-L, Upsilon-Y, Aah-A, En-N, Aah-A. Sehr Interessant!!
In the first three weeks of lecture, Frau Yanti had taught us how to introduce ourselves in German. For example, “Ich heiße...” which means my name is... and also “Ich komme aus...” which means I come from…
Soon, we began to greet and converse with each other. Hallo! is how they commonly greet each other in Germany. Other than that, there are other ways to greet such as Guten Morgen - good morning, Guten Tag - good afternoon, Guten Abend - good evening and Gute Nacht - good night.
We couldn’t wait for the next lesson. How about you? Have you learned any foreign language? Try it!! Bis dann! Tschuss!!!
